昨天沒事逛逛 WordPress 的網站, 發現有 一個問題 嚴重性是 “Major”, 大意是 trackbacks 可以收不能送, pingbacks 收送都不行. 難怪最近發表文章後 pingomatic.com 都沒什麼反應.
解決的方式要下載 2 個 diff 作 patch, changeset 2609 , changeset 2606.
Patch 完 pingomatic 又正常了.
如果沒有工具作 patch, 這裡提供 patch 完的兩個檔 xmlrpc.php 及 functions.php, 分別蓋過 WordPress 根目錄下的 xmlrpc.php 及 wp-includes 目錄下的 functions.php. 不負任何責任哦.

除了修正 William’s Blog 中提到的 RSS bug，也修正了精神奕奕提到的 trackbacks/pingbacks bug。神奇的是我都沒遇到，不過還是照著他們的方法將 bug 修正了。

To those who don’t know trackback and pingback,
You can think they are mechanism for putting comments between blog sites, but a little difference:
Pingback — For quoting the other site’s URI(URL) directly in post. It will send automatically in WordPress.
Trackback — Not quoting directly, but the author of a post of one blog thinks it may relate to some other blogs’ posts, the author can send trackbacks to those blogs. Trackbacks can be sent in ‘write post’ of administration page.
The above 2 comments are 2 trackbacks from the other sites.

Pingback是自動的,文章內直接引用對方文章網址.
Trackback在’Write post’ — Advanced — 有個’Send trackbacks to:’ 填入對方 trackback 網址 — Save

我用了之後發覺開啟自己的WP BLOG後”functions.php”出了問題，所以只好又將舊的給覆蓋回來了，請問這是出了什麼問題嗎?!還是又有更新了？
